Care Worker
£13.50 - £22.00ph
Workforce Personnel are recruiting experienced Care Workers to join our brilliant team to support various local residential care homes in and around the Central Bedfordshire, Birmingham, Coventry, Buckinghamshire and Surrey area.
The main duties will include: -
• Supporting vulnerable people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health and elderly people.
• Social, emotional, and physical support to all clients
• Manual handling and personal care.

You must have: -

• Reliable working ethics
• Good writing skills
• A good communicator
• An active team player
• Be able to follow instructions
• Be able to work flexible working patterns and available at short notice
• Previous experience working within Care

• The willingness to conduct the mandatory training

Children's Residential Support Worker - £15.00 - £23.00ph
Workforce Personnel are currently recruiting for Children’s Residential Workers based in the Hertfordshire area.
Working collaboratively with young people and their families, to support the unique growth of each individual young person in care. Our client seeks to achieve positive outcomes for all young people in their care by consistently adhering to values, aims and objectives, aspiring to provide an outstanding experience for young people within an environment which is always striving for excellence.

Responsibilities include: -

Providing appropriate, personalised care and support, effectively safeguarding, and actively engaging with the young people to ensure that their needs are met, and positive outcomes are achieved. To support Residential Workers in their role for the same provision

Assessing young people’s needs and contributing to the achievement of positive outcomes
-
Prioritising safeguarding, completing appropriate forms, and handing over/reporting concerns
-
Leading on meal preparation and cooking, sitting down to eat with young people whenever possible
-
Work in a consistent and professional manner, being a positive role model for young people and staff
-
Develop positive relationships with young people, taking a genuine interest in their lives
-
Supporting health and wellbeing, providing first aid, and calling emergency services where required

Must have
​

At least 2 years’ experience of working with young people, preferably in a residential setting.

Good basic education.

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare is desirable.

Mandatory training and the willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

Full driving licence and access to own insured car.
